Dantaé Elliott is a 3rd year Ph.D. student in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese at NYU. Her work focuses on contemporary Caribbean visual art as it relates to migration within the Caribbean diaspora(s). Her poem “A me fi tell yuh”, featured in this episode, will appear in Forgotten Lands, Volume 4: Currents of Africa, during Spring 2022.
